ONTARIO - The Children's Community Theatre at the Four Rivers Cultural Center is in need of 75 Oompa Loompa's for its November rendition of Roald Dhal's "Willy Wonka Jr."

Auditions will take place on Saturday, Sept. 14, and Monday, Sept. 16, and the show will be open to the public Nov. 21-23, Ruthie Carlson, the theatre director said.

On Thursday Sep. 23, three prospective Oompa Loompas, Sam Capps, Abi Capps, and Mollie Calkins, showed up to audition at the theatre.

All three performers gave it their all and have certainly set the bar high for the next auditions on Saturday night.

Kids in kindergarten through sixth grade are invited to come to the Children's Community Theatre at the Four Rivers Cultural Center for auditions at 9:30a.m. on Saturday, and 3:30p.m. on Monday.

Carlson said that around 200 kids have signed up for auditions so far.
